Grammar of Algebra:

 

Closure Law of Addition: If a and b are real numbers, then a + b is a real number.

Commutative Law of Addition: a + b = b + a.

Associative Law of Addition:a+(b+c)=(a+b)+c.

  1. Additive Identity: a + 0 = a.

Additive Inverse: a+(−a)=a−a=0.

Closure Law of Multiplication: If a and b are real numbers, then ab is a real number.

Commutative Law of Multiplication: ab = ba
